1½ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ c low-sodium soy sauce
1 pound bacon
⅔ c brown sugar
5 (15 ounces) cans green beans, drained
¼ c butter melted
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Drain the green beans.
Lay the drained green beans into a 9×13-inch baking pan.
Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
Add the bacon, then cook until brown and crispy.
Transfer the crispy bacon onto a clean plate lined with paper towels to drain excess grease.
When cooled, roughly chop the bacon into small pieces.
Sprinkle the chopped bacon over the green beans in the baking pan.
In a bowl, add garlic powder, melted butter, brown sugar, and soy sauce. Stir until well blended.
Pour the mixture over the green beans and bacon. Spread it evenly and make sure they are well covered.
Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for 40 minutes or until done.
Remove from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes at room temperature.
Serve and enjoy!
