PHILLY CHEESE STEAK CHEESY BREAD

Ingredients:

8 oz Ribeye Steak thinly sliced

salt and pepper to taste

1 tbsp canola oil

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

2 tbsp butter

1 green bell pepper sliced

1 yellow onion sliced

4 oz mushrooms sliced

1 loaf French bread cut in half lengthwise

1/4 c mayonnaise

8 oz Provolone cheese sliced

Directions:

Prepare the oven and preheat to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F.\

Season the ribeye steak with salt and pepper.

Place a cast-iron skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.

Add canola oil and allow it to become hot.

Add the seasoned steak and sear each side for about 2 minutes or until brown.

Add in Worcestershire sauce and toss until the steak is well coated.

Remove the steak from the skillet onto a clean plate.

Add butter into the skillet and allow it to melt.

Add the onion, mushroom, and bell peppers. Sauté until soft.

Sprinkle salt and pepper to season. Stir and cook for about 2 minutes.

Line the bread slices with mayonnaise.

Top each bread with Provolone Cheese.

Top with the steak and veggies.

Sprinkle more cheese over each bread.

Place them inside the preheated oven and bake for about 15 minutes or until done.

Remove from the oven and slice them into bite-size pieces.

Serve hot and enjoy!
