Longhorn Steakhouse Parmesan Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup bread crumbs

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs

1/4 cup milk

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions:

Preheat Oven:

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish with olive oil.

Prepare Coatings:

In a shallow dish, combine 1 cup of bread crumbs, 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese, 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper.

In another shallow dish, beat 2 large eggs with 1/4 cup milk.

Place 1/2 cup of flour in a third shallow dish.

Dredge Chicken:

Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, shaking off excess.

Dip the floured chicken in the egg mixture, then coat with the bread crumb mixture.

Sear Chicken:

In a skillet, heat 2 tablespoons olive oil over medium-high heat.

Add the chicken breasts and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.

Transfer to Baking Dish:

Transfer the chicken to the prepared baking dish.

Prepare Cheese Mixture:

Mix the remaining 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese with 1 cup of mozzarella cheese and 2 cloves of minced garlic.

Top Chicken:

Sprinkle the cheese mixture over the chicken breasts.

Bake:

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
