Bite-sized pecan pie balls are my new favorite dessert!

Yields: 24 balls

These little wonders are so good! They are best served with hot coffee or cocoa. Oh, man, you are so in for a treat! Share this recipe to your friends and loved ones. You all have a beautiful day, friends. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

2 1/2 cups pecans, toasted and chopped

1 cup graham crackers, crushed (you can also use vanilla wafers or Oreos)

1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed

1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)

2 tablespoon maple syrup

1/4 cup bourbon, brandy or spiced rum, non-alcoholic version: use almond extract, rum extract, or any other that may suit your taste, add a little water/juice to equal the liquid amount

1 teaspoon vanilla

7 ounces dark chocolate bark or white chocolate

1 teaspoon coarse sea salt (optional)

Ingredients:

Step 1: Line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper.

Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, add the graham crackers, pecans, brown sugar, and salt. Stir until well mixed.

Step 3: Add in the bourbon, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Stir until well mixed.

Step 4: Create small balls of the mixture. Use your hands to form the balls.

Step 5: Place the balls on the prepared cookie sheet.

Step 6: Place the cookie sheet inside the freezer to chill for at least 2 hours.

Step 7: Place the chocolate inside the microwave and heat until melted completely.

Step 8: Dip each ball into the melted chocolate and place them on the other prepared cookie sheet.

Step 9: Sprinkle a small amount of salt over the balls for extra flavour.

Step 10: Place the balls inside the freezer and allow it to chill.

Step 11: Remove from the freezer 15 minutes before serving.

Step 12: Serve and enjoy!
