APPLE ENCHILADAS

I think the combination of apple, butter, cinnamon and brown sugar is one of the best inventions in flavor. There is something about this so calming and enticing at the same time. I have found places more welcoming when there’s a smell of apple cinnamon in the kitchen. This hot dessert is super easy to make with the flour tortillas. So simple that the preparation time is less than 10 minutes. I cannot tell you enough how warm and soothing your kitchen would smell when you pour the melted butter and brown sugar on the enchiladas before baking. The apples become soft and absorbs the butter and sugar and caramelizes slowly in the oven.
This is a great dessert to have on a rainy day with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Truly comforting.
