Ingredients:

3 tablespoons cooking oil

2 tablespoons soy sauce

4 green onions, sliced

A pinch of salt

4 Eggs, beaten with a pinch of salt

4 c cold jasmine rice

Directions:

Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.

Add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil and allow it to become hot.

Add the beaten eggs, then scramble until almost cooked.

Add the rest of the cooking oil and cold rice. Use a wooden spatula to gently break up the rice. Stir until well blended with the scrambled eggs.

Add the soy sauce and stir until the rice and eggs are well coated.

Turn the heat down to low, then sprinkle salt to season. Make sure to taste first before adding salt because the soy sauce is already salty.

Remove from the heat and transfer the egg-fried rice onto a clean serving plate.

Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and more of your preferred herbs to garnish.
