Ingredients:
2 cloves garlic minced
1/4 c lite soy sauce
1 tsp minced ginger
2 chicken breasts sliced thinly
10 oz. Chinese egg noodles
1/2 c shredded cabbage
1 red bell pepper thinly sliced
3/4 c water
1 c bean sprouts
1 carrot thinly sliced
2 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1/2 c onion sliced
1 tsp sesame oil
2 tbsp canola oil
Directions:
Refer to the directions provided on the package of the egg noodles on how to cook them. Drain and transfer into a mixing bowl.
Add sesame oil and toss until the noodles are well coated.
Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
Add canola oil and allow it to become hot.
Add the chicken into the hot skillet, then cook each side for about 4 minutes or until they turn brown. Transfer onto a clean plate.
In the empty skillet, add garlic, ginger, and red bell peppers. Sauté until soft and aromatic.
Add vegetable oil, oyster sauce, water, soy sauce, and cornstarch. Stir until well blended.
Add the cabbage, carrot, and onion. Cook for about 2 minutes.
Put the egg noodles, bean sprouts, and chicken into the skillet. Toss everything until well combined.
Remove from the heat, then sprinkle your preferred herbs on top to garnish.
Serve right away and enjoy!
