BLACKENED SALMON

Salmon fillets are the best! This recipe is just one of the reasons why I love cooking and eating salmon! It does not need anything complicated ingredients for it to taste great. Just with these simple seasonings, you will surely have the best salmon treats! Anyway, feel free to add more if you want. Tweak this recipe to your liking! Ingredients:

4 skinless salmon fillets

2 tbsp paprika

1 tbsp cayenne pepper

1 tbsp onion powder

1 tsp salt

½ tsp white pepper

½ tsp black pepper

½ tsp cumin

½ tsp garlic powder

¼ tsp dried thyme

¼ tsp dried basil

¼ tsp dried oregano

½ c butter, unsalted melted

Directions:

Step 1: In a mixing bowl, add all the spices. Whisk until well combined.

Step 2: Brush with melted butter on all sides of the salmon fillets.

Step 3: Rub all sides with the mixed spices.
Step 4: Brush the rest of the butter over each salmon fillet.

Step 5: Place a large pan on the stove and turn the heat to high.

Step 6: Add the salmon and cook each side for 2 to 5 minutes or until slightly dark.

Step 7: Transfer the salmon fillets onto a clean serving plate.

Step 8: Serve with veggies and enjoy!
