Ingredients:
CHOCOLATE BROWNIE COOKIES
225 g dark chocolate (50% – 70% cacao) (8 oz)
65 g butter (1/4 cup + 1 teaspoon or 2.5 oz)
100 g all-purpose flour (3/4 c)
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 Eggs
80 g sugar (3/8 c)
80 g packed brown sugar (1/3 c)
Directions:
Step 1: Place the butter and chocolate inside the microwave. Heat and allow it to melt.
Step 2: Remove from the microwave and stir until well blended, then allow it to cool at room temperature.
Step 3: Line with parchment paper two baking sheets.
Step 4: Add the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt in a small mixing bowl. Whisk until well mixed.
Step 5: In a separate large mixing bowl, add the sugars and eggs. Beat until well combined for about 3 minutes.
Step 6: Add the melted butter-chocolate mixture into the egg mixture and beat until well mixed.
Step 7: Add the flour mixture and beat until well mixed.
Step 8: Cover the cookie dough with plastic wrap and put it inside the fridge to chill for about 2 hours.
Step 9: Prepare the oven and preheat to 350 degrees F or 175 degrees C.
Step 10: Form walnut-sized balls out of the dough.
Step 11: Arrange the balls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Make sure to leave a space between each ball.
Step 12: Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for 10 minutes or until done.
Step 13: Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to sit on a wire rack to cool at room temperature.
