SUPER EASY SAUSAGE HASH BROWN BREAKFAST CASSEROLE

Ingredients:

1 pound hot pork sausage

½ (30 ounces) package frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed

1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

1 ½ teaspoons salt, divided

½ teaspoon ground black pepper

1 cup milk

3 large eggs, beaten

Directions: 

Step 1: Ready the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees C.

Step 2: Apply cooking spray in a 1/2 casserole baking dish.

Step 3: Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.

Step 4: Add in the sausage and cook for 5 to 7 minutes or until it turns color brown and disintegrates.

Step 5: Remove the cooked sausage and remove the grease.

Step 6: In a large bowl, add in the cooked sausage, hash browns, 1/2 teaspoon salt, Cheddar cheese, and black pepper. Stir until well mixed.

Step 7: In a separate bowl, pour in the milk, eggs, and the rest of the salt. Whisk until well blended.

Step 8: Transfer the hash brown mixture into the greased baking dish.

Step 9: Transfer the egg mixture on top of the hash brown mixture.

Step 10: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes or until it starts to bubble and the color turns golden.

Step 11: Remove from the oven and let it sit on a wire rack to cool to room temperature.

Step 12: Serve and enjoy!
