SPAGHETTI CARBONARA

Prep Time: 5 mins | Cook Time: 20 mins | Total Time: 25 mins | Yield: 6 Servings

I have tried a lot of Spaghetti Carbonara recipes before, but this one’s my favorite! It is so legit and very easy to prepare! It tastes so natural with no other ingredients rather than these six things! You can enjoy this in just 25 minutes! What are you waiting for? It is time to go to your kitchen and start prepping.

Ingredients:

3 Eggs

1 c Parmesan cheese, shredded

1 lb. spaghetti

freshly ground black pepper

2 cloves garlic, minced

6 slices pancetta or bacon, chopped

Directions:

In a mixing bowl, add black pepper, eggs, and Parmesan cheese. Whisk until well blended.

Place a pot with water on the stove and turn the heat to high. Allow the water to boil.

Add the pasta into the pot, then cook for a few minutes until al dente.

Meanwhile, place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.

Add the pancetta, then cook for a few minutes until crispy. Transfer onto a clean plate.

In the same skillet, add garlic and saute for a minute or until aromatic.

Drain the pasta and set aside 1 cup of pasta water.

Add the pasta into the skillet, then toss until well coated with the garlic.

Remove the skillet from the heat, then immediately add the egg mixture. Toss until well combined. Add pasta water if it gets too dry.

Add the pancetta, parsley, and Parmesan cheese. Stir until well mixed.

Serve right away. Enjoy!

Notes:

Make sure that the eggs are at room temperature before cooking.

Make sure not to rinse the pasta with water. You need the extra starch for the sauce.

Place any leftovers in an airtight container, then place them inside the fridge.
