RHUBARB STRAWBERRY CRUNCH

Do you have rhubarb in your garden? Perfect! Because now, you can finally use it in an amazing dish! I remember when I was a kid, my mom had a rhubarb plant. I was curious about the taste of it until my mom made this very delicious Rhubarb Strawberry Crunch. I remember the first time I tasted this, I was so surprised that I told my mom, I want to eat it every day! Aside from the rhubarb, the strawberries give an amazing twist in this dessert as well. Give this one a try and be amazed by how a simple plant in your backyard can make such an amazing dish. Feel free to add more ingredients to make this recipe even better. I hope you all love this. Ingredients:

1 cup white sugar

3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

3 cups sliced fresh strawberries

3 cups diced rhubarb

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

1 cup packed brown sugar

1 cup butter

1 cup rolled oats

Directions: 

Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 190 degrees C or 375 degrees F.

Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, add in the strawberries, rhubarb, white sugar, and 3 tablespoons of flour. Stir until well mixed.

Step 3: Transfer the mixture into the 9×13-inch baking dish.

Step 4: In a medium mixing bowl, add in the brown sugar, butter, oats, and 1 1/2 cups of flour. Beat until the texture becomes crumbly. Use a blender to mix this.

Step 5: Place the mixture on top of the strawberry mixture and rhubarb.

Step 6: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes or until the color turns light brown.

Step 7: Remove from the oven and let it sit on a wire rack to cool at room temperature.

Step 8: Serve and enjoy!
