GROUND BEEF STROGANOFF

Ingredients:

3 cloves garlic, minced

10 ounces egg noodles, uncooked

1 onion, finely diced

2 tbsp butter

4 c beef broth

1 lb. of ground beef

3/4 c sour cream

3 tbsp all-purpose flour

8 ounces mushrooms, thinly sliced (baby Bella or white button)

1/2 tsp black pepper

1 tsp salt

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Directions:

Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.

Add butter and allow it to melt.

Add the mushrooms, then sauté for about 5 minutes or until soft. Transfer onto a clean plate.

In the same skillet, add the ground beef. Cook until crumbly and brown.

Add the onion and garlic, then sauté until translucent and aromatic.

Add the Worcestershire sauce, then stir until well blended.

Add the flour, then whisk and cook for about a minute to remove the raw taste.

Add the noodles, salt, pepper, and broth. Stir until well mixed. Allow the mixture to boil.

Turn the heat down to low, then simmer for 10 minutes or until the noodles are firm to bite.

Turn off the heat, then add sour cream and the sauteed mushrooms. Stir until well mixed.

Add more seasonings if needed. Make sure to taste first before adding anything.

Sprinkle your preferred herbs on top to garnish.
