Old but gold! This Meatloaf has always been a part of our small family since I was little. Allow me to share it with you today! I have listed all the things you will be needing so just follow them step by step for they will guide you to perfection. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

Meatloaf:

1 tbsp butter

1 c milk

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 c panko bread crumbs

2 cloves garlic (minced)

2 lbs. ground beef

1 medium-sized onion (diced)

1 tsp thyme

1 tsp kosher salt

1 large Egg

Topping:

1 tbsp spicy brown mustard

½ c ketchup

1 tbsp brown sugar

Directions:

Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.

Line with parchment paper a baking sheet.

Place a pan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.

Add butter and allow it to melt.

Add the onions and cook for a few minutes until soft and a bit caramelized.

Add the garlic, then sauté until aromatic.

Remove the pan from the stove.

Add the egg, ground beef, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, milk, breadcrumbs, onion, thyme, and salt into a large mixing bowl. Use your clean hands to mix everything until well combined.

Transfer the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it evenly to form a meatloaf.

Run a knife on top to create a crisscross pattern.

Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 40 minutes.

In a mixing bowl, add brown sugar, mustard, and ketchup. Stir until well blended.

Brush the ketchup mixture over the meatloaf, then bake for another 30 minutes or until done.

Remove from the oven and allow it to cool completely at room temperature.

Serve and enjoy!
