This is by far our favourite cheesecake recipe! My daughter and I love this so much that we bake it pretty much all the time! It is a great bonding experience for both of us. You have got to give this one a try and be amazed by how awesome it tastes! Feel free to add more ingredients to it. Give it your take. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
2 (8oz.) packs of Pillsbury crescent rolls
2 (8oz.) packs of cream cheese, room temperature
1 cup of sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup butter (melted)
1 tablespoon cinnamon
4 tablespoons sugar or honey
Directions:
Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Apply cooking spray in a 9×13 baking dish.
Step 3: Add 1 can of crescent roll on the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Press it on the bottom and the sides.
Step 4: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for 5 minutes or until set.
Step 5: In a small mixing bowl, add the sugar, vanilla, and cream cheese. Stir until well mixed.
Step 6: Spread the mixture on top of the rolls.
Step 7: Layer the rest of the crescent roll on top of the toppings. Seal the sides and stretch.
Step 8: Brush with melted butter the top of the roll.
Step 9: Sprinkle 4 tablespoons of sugar and 1 tablespoon of cinnamon.
Step 10: Place inside the oven and bake for 30 minutes or until the colour turns golden brown.
Step 11: Remove from the oven and let it sit on a wire rack to cool at room temperature.
Step 12: Slice into square and drizzle with honey.
Step 13: Serve and enjoy!
Note:
I use honey because it compliments well with this cheesecake.
