EASY CRESCENT APPLE DUMPLINGS

Ingredients:

2 pack 8 oz crescent rolls

1 c butter

1 1/2 c brown sugar

1 tsp vanilla

1 tsp cinnamon

1 1/2 c 7-up (or other lemon soda)

2 granny smith apples (2 apples makes 16 dumplings)

Directions:

Brush with butter a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Preheat the oven to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.

Prepare the apples by peeling and removing the core.

Slice the prepared apples into 8 cuts.

Roll each apple slice into a crescent roll.

Arrange them into the prepared baking dish.

Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.

Add butter and allow it to melt.

Add the cinnamon, sugar, and vanilla. Stir and cook until thick.

Spread the sauce on top of the apple dumplings.

Pour the soda on the sides of the baking dish.

Bake inside the preheated oven for 40 minutes or until they turn golden brown.

Remove from the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes at room temperature.

Serve warm and enjoy!
