Chocolate Chip Cookies

Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, chocolate chip cookies are easy-to-prepare party delights to get everyone going.
The chocolate chip recipe is a cookie delight for both adults and children. It’s awesome taste and crispy exterior when prepared right will leave each bite will feel like a ray of sunshine in your mouth

Ingredients

2 ¼ cups of all-purpose flour
1teaspoon of baking soda
½ teaspoon of salt
1cup of softened butter
¾ cup of granulated sugar
¾ cup of packed brown sugar
1 egg
1teaspoon of vanilla
2 cups of semisweet chocolate chips
1cup of coarsely chopped nuts, optional

Preparation process

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 2: Mix the flour, baking soda and salt in a bowl and leave it. In another bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar together with an electric mixer on a medium speed. Check until it gets fluffy while scraping the side of the bowl occasionally.
Step 3: Beat the egg and vanilla together until it is smooth. Pour into the flour mixture and stir well. Also stir in the chocolate chips and nuts well.
Step 4: Drop the dough with a rounded tablespoon full, two inches apart in the ungreased.
Step 5: Leave it to bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until it turns light brown. Leave it to cool for 2 minutes, remove the cookie from the cookie sheet and place on the cooling rack for about 30 minutes to cool completely. You can store in an air tight container.

Tips and variations:
·In order to have the best chocolate chip cookies, bake the cookies on a middle oven rack.
·The best cookie sheets are shiny aluminium with a smooth surface and no sides. Ensure to place one sheet at a time in the oven.
