From now on, I will make my biscuits exactly like this.
The name says it all. Butter Swim Biscuits. What are you going with? A buttermilk biscuit, or one that has been bathed in butter? It’s easy to choose. It’s because butter is always better than butter.
These biscuits are so delicious, you guys. These biscuits are light and fluffy, and they rise high. They are also very moist and light. However, because they were essentially dipped in butter, the outside surfaces are lightly crisped, and every bite has a buttery, delicate flavor. These are also easier than simple drop biscuits. You don’t have to roll or cut out, and you don’t even need to portion the dough.

INGREDIENTS
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups buttermilk
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 tablespoons granulated sugar
2 teaspoons salt
PREPARATION
Preheat oven to 450°F.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
Add buttermilk and mix just until a moist dough is formed.
Pour melted butter into an 8×8-inch baking dish and place dough on top of melted butter. Using a spatula, spread dough evenly across pan until it touches the sides.
Cut dough into 9 equal squares and bake until golden brown, 20-25 minutes. Enjoy!
