BAKED APPLES

This recipe will always have a very special place in my heart! My aunt used to make these Baked Apples all the time! The aroma of these heavenly treats is just perfect! I have listed all the ingredients and directions so all you need to do is to follow them step by step and you are good to go! You can always add more ingredients if you like. Ingredients:

¼ c coconut sugar

3 tbsp whole wheat flour

3 medium to large apples cut in half and cored

¼ tsp cinnamon

½ c rolled oats

4 tbsp coconut oil melted

Directions:

Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.

Lay the apples into a baking dish, cut side-up.

Add the coconut sugar, oats, cinnamon, whole wheat flour, and coconut oil into a mixing bowl. Stir until well blended.

Transfer the mixture over to the middle of each apple.

Place the baking dish inside the preheated oven and bake the apples for about 30 minutes or until done.

Remove from the oven and allow the apples to rest for a few minutes at room temperature.
