Old Bay Baked Oyster Crackers: A Delicious Southern Tradition

Buttery, flavorful, and even more crunchy than ever.

Alabama Fire Crackers are great for snacking out of the box, but when we tried to doctor them up, we quickly learned that you can take crackers to a whole new level of snack-yum. These crackers are a great way to transform an already delicious oyster cracker into a buttery flavor and even more crunchy. Old Bay fan or not, these crackers are incredibly easy to love.

Serves 6
30 minutes

 

INGREDIENTS

10 oz oyster crackers
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 1/2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
1/2 teaspoon dried chives
1/4 tablespoon salt

PREPARATION

Preheat oven to 250°F.

In a large bowl, whisk together the butter, Old Bay, Worcestershire, mustard powder, chives, and salt.

Add crackers and toss to coat.

Spread crackers evenly on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.

Flip crackers over and bake until golden brown, 5-10 minutes more.

Let cool 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
