Gooey Butter Spice Cake

It all starts with a box of cake mix!

Gooey. Butter. Spice. Cake. There’s nothing about that name I don’t love. What’s even better, is that this dessert starts with a box cake mix! That’s right, nothing too fancy here, but the result is unlike anything you’ve ever made from a box before. The base of this cake consists of cake mix, butter, and an egg. While delicious, it’s not the star of the show.

The real kicker is the gooey, sweet, buttery topping. With cream cheese, vanilla extract, eggs, spices, and even more butter, this is one cake you won’t want to pass up. Check out the video below to see how all the flavors of fall come together for one sweet, over-the-top dessert!
