UNSTUFFED CABBAGE ROLLS

Ingredients:

1 tbsp oil

1 clove garlic, minced

1 small cabbage, chopped

1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef, chicken, or pork

1 can(s) diced tomatoes, 28 ounces

3/4 c water

1/2 c quick-cooking rice

1 large onion, diced

1 tsp each salt and pepper

1 can(s) plain tomato sauce, 8 ounces

Directions:

Put a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.

Add oil and let it sizzle.

Add the ground beef, then cook until crumbly and brown.

Add the onion, then sauté until soft.

Add the garlic and sauté until aromatic.

Add the rice and stir until well mixed.

Add the tomato, salt, tomato sauce, and pepper. Stir and cook for a minute.

Add water and cabbage, then stir until well blended. Allow the mixture to boil.

Move the mixture into a slow cooker.

Cover and seal the slow cooker, then cook for 2 to 3 hours at 150 degrees C.

Serve right away and enjoy!
