I love this dish so much! Aside from the delicious flavours, it is also very easy to prepare. All you need are these basic ingredients, and you will surely have the best lunch or dinner ever! Ingredients:
Bang Bang Sauce:
1/4 c sweet chilli sauce
1/2 tsp sriracha sauce or less or more to taste
1/2 c mayo
Bang Bang Shrimp Batter:
1 tbsp avocado oil for brushing air fryer pan and shrimp
1/2 c buttermilk
1 c Panko bread crumbs more if needed
3/4 c cornstarch
1–2-pound jumbo shrimp shell off and deveined
1 tsp parsley or cilantro finely chopped, for garnish
Directions:
Add all the ingredients for the sauce in a large bowl. Stir until well blended.
Prepare the Air Fryer and preheat to about 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F.
Coat the Air Fryer with cooking spray.
Coat each shrimp into the cornstarch, buttermilk, then into the bread crumbs.
Lay the shrimp into the preheated Air Fryer.
Cover the fryer, then cook each side for about 5 minutes or until done.
Transfer the shrimp onto a serving plate.
Drizzle the bang bang sauce on top of the shrimp. Make sure to coat each well.
Sprinkle parsley or cilantro on top to garnish.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes:
Feel free to use a skillet for this recipe. Cooking time is about 2 to 3 minutes.
